About the Role

Responsibilities:
Rotation through Manufacturing Areas:
Participate in a structured apprenticeship program that includes rotations through different manufacturing departments, such as Quality, Production, and Planning & Control.
Learning and Development:
Engage in hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of experienced professionals. Acquire practical skills and knowledge related to precision manufacturing processes.
Quality Department:
Assist in quality control inspections and testing procedures.
Learn to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
Support the implementation of quality assurance processes.
Production:
Work alongside experienced machinists and operators to understand machine setup and operation. Assist in the production of mechanical components with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Planning & Control:
Gain exposure to production planning and scheduling processes.
Assist in material inventory management and order tracking.
Learn about workflow optimization and coordination between different departments.
Requirements
Education: 5 GCSE's grade 4 minimum, including Maths and English and College diploma or equivalent. Enrollment or willingness to enroll in a relevant technical or vocational program is a must.
Interest in Precision Engineering:Â Passion for the manufacturing industry and a strong desire to learn and develop skills in precision engineering.
Communication Skills:Â Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and learn from experienced professionals.
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to different tasks and work in various manufacturing environments.
